SINGAPORE, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 3.13 points, or 0.1 percent, to close at 3,234.37.
A total of 2.02 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.17 billion Singapore dollars (841.91 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered decliners 276 to 183.
The STI index gained 8.55 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 3,231.24 on Wednesday.
