Indian stock market opens higher

MUMBAI, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The Indian stock market opened higher Thursday, tracking handover from the global market and driven by expiry of May futures & options contracts.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 30,382.96, 81.32 points or 0.27 percent up compared to its previous close at 30,301.64.
