RABAT, May 24 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese embassy in Morocco held Tuesday evening a reception at the end of ambassador Sun Shuzhong's term expected next month.
During the reception, Moroccan politicians and economic and cultural figures came to congratulate the ambassador on his work to bring the peoples of the two nations closer.
The ambassador also received members of diplomatic corps residing in Morocco.
Sun told Xinhua at the end of this reception that "it is a moment of emotion because I had to say goodbye to the Moroccan and Chinese friends with whom I have worked with for four years."
"We have already realized some major projects of cooperation between our two countries," he said. "We have a solid foundation of friendship between the two peoples, and it is a great platform for bilateral cooperation."
