TEHRAN, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Customs Administration has launched "pre-arrival value declaration" system for imports, the Financial Tribune daily reported on Wednesday.
The new regulation requires traders to record information about the goods to be imported to the country on epl.irica.ir/TscViewPage.
It will enable the customs officials to evaluate the value and set the import tariffs of the items before their arrival.
As a part of the electronic customs services, the "pre-arrival value declaration" will facilitate process and ease of trade, Iran's Customs Administration said.
