SYDNEY, May 24 (Xinhua) -- China continued their winning ways on day four of Badminton's Sudriman Cup on Australia's Gold Coast, outclassing Thailand 5-0 in a spectacular display of speed and skill.
Chinese Taipei also performed well, stunning South Korea with a 3-2 victory, in what was a hotly contest back and forth string of matches.
In the afternoon's two other groupings Canada thumped New Zealand 5-0 and Sri Lanka blasted Slovakia 5-0.
When the evening's fixtures got underway all eyes were focused on badminton heavyweights Denmark and Indonesia.
The epic grouping did not fail to disappoint, with all five matches thoroughly entertaining the Aussie crowd, in the end the result finished 3-2 to Indonesia.
In another highly anticipated battle, Japan and Malaysia put on a thrilling show, this time the Japanese took the honours 3-2.
In other results, Vietnam demolished Scotland 4-1 and the United States got through a hard fought 3-2 victory against Austria.
