RIO DE JANEIRO, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Argentine midfielder Dario Conca has fully recovered from a serious knee injury and could make his debut for Flamengo next weekend, the Brazilian club's medical staff said on Monday.

The 34-year-old, who joined Flamengo on a 12-month loan from Shanghai SIPG in January, has not played since suffering knee ligament damage in August.

He resumed training with the ball in April and is expected to be named in Flamengo's match-day squad for their trip to Atletico Paranaense in Brazil's Serie A championship on Sunday.

"As you may know, Conca has returned to training with the rest of the team and he is free to play as soon as the coaching staff sees fit," Flamengo team doctor Marcio Tanure said in a medical bulletin.

Meanwhile Conca's compatriot, Alejandro Donatti, is still several weeks from returning from a calf injury that has restricted him to eight games since joining the club last year.

"He is still in the final phase of his recovery and we he hope that he can be back playing as soon as possible," Tanure said.
