China industrial output expands 6.5 pct in April

BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- China's value-added industrial output, an important economic indicator, expanded 6.5 percent year on year in April, 1.1 percentage points lower than that of last month, or 0.5 percentage point higher than last April, official data showed Monday.
