YANGON, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Four people have been killed and nine others injured due to strong wind attack in Myanmar over the past six days, according to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Friday.
About 437 houses were completely destroyed while over 4,000 other houses and 46 religious buildings were partly damaged due to the disaster.
The government has allocated a financial support of 114.41 million kyats (84,748 U.S. dollars) for food and housing materials for the rehabilitation of the storm victims, the ministry said.
