DUBAI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Abdul Aziz Al-Ghurair, the CEO of Dubai-based Mashreq Bank, said here on Wednesday in interview with Xinhua, that London's future as a financial center has to be re-evaluated amid Brexit.

Speaking to Xinhua on the sidelines of Mashreq Bank's 50th anniversary event, Al-Ghurair said amid the ongoing Brexit negotiations, "banks will have to evaluate where the business is, where the trade goes to."

"It is still on the table for people to think whether the Brexit will affect the business in London," Al-Ghurair said.

According to the businessman, who is also the chairman of the United Arab Emirates Banks Federation, Frankfurt, Luxembourg City or Paris could take over London's role as the leading financial center in Europe.
