HONG KONG, May 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted 62km NNE of Port-Olry, Vanuatu at 13:52:12 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 175.4 km, was initially determined to be at 14.518 degrees south latitude and 167.243 degrees east longitude.
