BEIJING, May 4 (Xinhua) -- A 4.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Gongxian County of Yibin City in southwest China's Sichuan Province at 1:40 p.m. Thursday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 28.19 degrees north latitude and 104.87 degrees east longitude at a depth of 10 km, the center said in a statement.
