NEW YORK, April 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted 34km SW of Pangyan, the Philippines at 20:23:18 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.478 degrees north latitude and 125.057 degrees east longitude.
