BEIJING, 4.5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 71km NNW of Torbat-e Jam, Iran at 06:09:12 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 35.8579 degrees north latitude and 60.3871 degrees east longitude.
