Khartoum condemns London's terrorist attack

KHARTOUM, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Sudan's Foreign Ministry on Thursday condemned the terrorist attack which took place near the British Parliament on Wednesday.

"Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its strong condemnation of the terrorist attack which took place in front of the British Parliament on Wednesday, and which left many innocent people dead," said Sudan's Foreign Ministry in a statement.

The ministry described the attack as "a crime that contradicts all humanitarian values and principles."

It further expressed condolences to the families of the victims and to the British government and people.

The ministry renewed Sudan's rejection of all forms of terrorist acts, expressing Sudan's full solidarity and support for the British government to take whatever measures to preserve security and safety of its citizens.

It also urged the international community to intensify joint efforts to confront terrorist activities.

The attack, which took place on Wednesday, resulted in the killing of at least five people, including the attacker, and injuring of 40 others.
