YANGON, March 2 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi has met with a delegation for political negotiation (DPN) of the United Nationalities Federal Council (UNFC), which represents the non-signatory armed groups to the Nationwide Cease fire Accord (NCA), in Nay Pyi Taw.

According to a press release on Wednesday evening following the talks, their talks at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center covered principle-related matters with regard to political dialogue including nationwide ceasefire issue.

Khu Oo Ral, leader of the DPN, clarified the nine proposals in the NCA, the release said without further details.

The talks also touched on codes of conduct in political discussions concerning the NCA, the release added.

Meanwhile, Myanmar's second meeting of the 21st Century Panglong Peace Conference, which will gather 700 representatives, has been rescheduled for late this month as the ongoing political dialogue is not finished yet. The outcome of the dialogues are to be submitted to the upcoming second meeting of the Panglong Peace Conference.

Non-ceasefire groups are being urged to join the signing of the NCA in the conference.

Myanmar's previous government and eight armed groups initiated the NCA on Oct. 15, 2015 and the first meeting of the 21st Century Panglong Conference was held on Aug. 31, 2016, five months after the new government-led by the National League for Democracy (NLD) took office.
