MANILA, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Philippine shares closed 0.10 percent lower on Friday.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index decreased by 8.22 points to 7970.35. The all-share index went up by 10.14 points, or 0.21 percent, to 4740.95.
Trading volume reached 1.88 billion shares worth 6.57 billion pesos (139.97 million U.S. dollars).
There were 102 gainers, 84 losers while 47 stocks closed flat.
