TOKYO, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo shares opened the trading Tuesday slightly higher after briefly sinking below the 16,000 line on bargain-hunting following a big slide in the previous day, but sentiment here was still weighed by Brexit anxieties.
At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average inched up 15.81 points, or 0.10 percent, from Monday to 16,034.99.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 0.28 point, or 0.02 percent, to 1,284.82.
