Reindeer spend winter in Lapland, Finland

Inari, FINLAND, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- On October 28 Monday, a herd of reindeer pasture beside the road of Kaamasentie in Lapland area in northern Finland, 55 kilometers away from Norway border.
There are more than 190 thousand reindeer living in Lapland, and a big part of the flock are raised by Sami minorities. After slaughter for food and fur, the reindeer left alive will spend the winter in the wilderness. (Xinhua/Li Jizhi)
