    蒂鲁斯·米勒(1963-),美国加州圣克鲁斯大学文学教授,Cowell学院院长,研究院副院长。1995至2000年曾历任耶鲁大学比较文学及电影理论助理教授、副教授。研究方向包括:现代派、先锋艺术与后现代主义文学;二十世纪不同艺术的交叉;美学;电影与电影理论;哲学与社会理论;当代诗学与语言艺术等。主要著作有:《晚期现代派:两次世界大战之间的政治、小说与艺术》(1999)、《奇特的事例:艺术政治学与新前卫艺术》(2009)等。

    Tyrus Miller is Professor of Comparative Literature, Cowell College Provost and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies Modernist. His research focus include avant-garde, and postmodernist literature; the interrelations of the arts in the 20th century; aesthetics; cinema and film theory; the Frankfurt School; philosophy and social theory; contemporary poetry and language arts. Tyrus Miller breaks new ground in this study of early twentieth-century literary and artistic culture. Whereas modernism studies have generally concentrated on the vital early phases of the modernist revolt, Miller focuses on the turbulent later years of the 1920s and 1930s, tracking the dissolution of modernism in the interwar years. His major publication include Late Modernism: Politics, Fiction, and the Arts between the World Wars(1999);Singular Examples: Artistic Politics and the Neo-Avant-Garde(2009).
