　　High income is the main reason for these women to choose the profession. The average dancer took home 232 pounds （＄358）per shift after paying commission and fees to the nightclub, and most who work two to four shifts a week make an annual income of 24,000 pounds （＄36，996）to 48,000 pounds(＄74,006).
