    交通是指协调并管理向奥林匹克大家庭，尤其是运动员提供安全、可靠的交通服务。该领域也负责向奥运会观众提供前往比赛场地和其他奥运会场馆的可靠的公共交通服务，同时确保主办城市在奥运会期间各方面运行正常。交通部门的目标是为交通和交通网络提供有效的管理，从而最大限度地降低奥运会期间突发事件对提供各项交通服务可能产生的影响。组委会可设立一个职能部门，专门负责处理交通方面的问题。

    Transport relates to the coordination and management of the delivery of safe, secure and reliable transport services for the Olympic Family, giving priority to the athletes. This area is also responsible for ensuring provision of reliable public transportation to competition venues and any other Olympic venues for Olympic spectators, while enabling the host community to function during the Olympic Games. Transport aims to provide effective management of the traffic and transport network to minimise the impact of incidents on the delivery of all transport services during the Olympic Games. The OCOG may establish a functional area dealing with Transport aspects.
