新华网北京１１月１５日电　中国多党合作制度中包括中国共产党和八个民主党派。八个民主党派是中国国民党革命委员会、中国民主同盟、中国民主建国会、中国民主促进会、中国农工民主党、中国致公党、九三学社、台湾民主自治同盟。

    中国国民党革命委员会（简称民革）于１９４８年１月正式成立。民革以同原中国国民党有关系的人士、同民革有历史联系和社会联系的人士、同台湾各界有联系的人士以及其他人士为对象，着重吸收其中有代表性的中上层人士和中高级知识分子，目前有党员８万多人。

    中国民主同盟（简称民盟）１９４１年３月在重庆秘密成立，当时名称是中国民主政团同盟。１１月１６日，张澜在重庆公开宣布中国民主政团同盟成立。１９４４年９月，中国民主政团同盟在重庆召开全国代表会议，决定将中国民主政团同盟改为中国民主同盟。民盟主要由从事文化教育以及科学技术工作的高中级知识分子组成，目前有盟员１８万多人。

    中国民主建国会（简称民建）于１９４５年１２月由爱国的民族工商业者和有联系的知识分子发起，在重庆成立。民建主要由经济界人士组成，目前有成员１０万多人。

    中国民主促进会（简称民进）于１９４５年１２月在上海正式成立。民进主要由从事教育文化出版工作的高中级知识分子组成。目前民进有会员１０万多人。
