KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- A landslide struck an aboriginal village in Cameron Highlands, a famous toursim spot in east Malaysian state of Pahang on Sunday evening, leaving one dead, two badly injured and at least six still missing, said police source.

Local police told reporters that the tragedy happened at around 6 p.m. local time on Sunday in which six houses were buried under the landslide.

Rescue workers are still searching for victims who are believed to be trapped under the debris.
