MEXICO CITY, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Days of heavy rains triggered two landslides in Guatemala Saturday, leaving at least 14 people dead, 13 others injured and another three missing, Guatemalan media reported.
Ten people were killed instantly and 15 others injured when a bus they were aboard was pounded by falling rocks and mud on a highway in Chimaltenango department, the reports said. Two of the injured died in a nearby hospital.
In the western Quetzaltenango department, two people died and three others were missing after a house was buried in a landslide, according to the reports.
