Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly submitted a letter to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on resuming nuclear talks.

The letter, jointly provided by Iran's National Security Supreme Council and Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, expresses Iran's readiness to start uranium swap talks, Iranian satellite Press TV reported on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Iran is ready to start the nuclear talks "without delay," the semi-official ISNA news agency reported.

Iran, Brazil, Turkey foreign ministers to meet in Istanbul: FM

TEHRAN, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said the foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Brazil are to meet in Istanbul on Sunday to discuss the latest developments on Tehran Declaration, Iran's official news agency IRNA reported on Saturday.

Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki will meet with his Brazilian and Turkish counterparts, Celso Amorim and Ahmet Davutoglu, "in Istanbul tomorrow morning to discuss the Tehran Declaration about the fuel swap", Ramin Mehmanparast was quoted as saying by IRNA.Full story

Iran not to be deterred by sanctions, says top legislator

GENEVA, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran will continue to pursue nuclear activities for peaceful purposes in defiance of "illegal and inhuman" sanctions, the country's top legislator Ali Larijani said here on Monday.

Addressing a world conference of parliament speakers, Larijani reiterated that Tehran "seeks to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes within the framework of the NPT (Treaty on Non- Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons)."Full story
