Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Monday urged Arab leaders in the region and the Palestinian leadership to show restraint and keep the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in its original track following the clash between a Gaza-bound aid flotilla and the Israeli navy.

Hundreds of Israeli demonstrate on Monday evening near the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem, which was organized by a human right movement, protesting "the killing of Peace Activists".

"We have lessons learnt from this operation, and certainly we will do our best to make sure, if there are next flotilla or , to make sure that any operation, based on the lesson we learnt now to the extent possible will be nonviolent," Ayalon said.

However, Free Gaza Movement organization claimed on their Twitter page that they will not stop until "Gaza is free", while called for donations for their "next trip".

Israel imposes a tight blockade on the coastal enclave since the Islamic Hamas movement forcibly seized the territory in 2007 after routing rival Fatah party which now rules the West Bank.
