KABUL, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- A suicide attack rocked Khogyani district in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province Monday afternoon, killing a former Jihadi commander Hajji Mohammad Zaman and 14 others, spokesman for provincial administration Ahmad Zia Abdulzai said.

"This afternoon a suicide bomber blew himself up in Khogyani district as a result 15 persons including Hajji Zaman and 14 others were killed and 15 others sustained injuries," Abdulzai told Xinhua.

Majority of the victims are civilians, he further said.

However, he did not give more details.
