The last batch of Muslim pilgrims comes home

BEIJING,Dec. 5 (Xinhuanet) – Over 13,000 Muslim have now returned to Beijing after completing their pilgrimage to Mecca. For them, it marks the end of a long journey.

Expecting eyes and eager faces. Hundreds of family members wait at the arrivals area of Beijing Capital International Airport to welcome their loved ones home from their holy pilgrimage in Mecca.

The last batch of pilgrims have safely arrived. Many of their family members and friends have waited for hours to welcome them home from this once in a life time journey.

A family member said, "I left home at five thirty this morning. I come with my whole family to welcome my grandmother home. I haven’t seen her for 40 days, so I miss her very much."
