BEIJING, March 23 (Xinhuanet) --The Tokyo Electric Power Cooperation says seawater near an outlet at Fukushima No.1 nuclear plant has displayed radioactive levels 127 times higher than what can be ingested by a person in a year.
This is the first time an analysis of radioactive materials in seawater have been made public. However, Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yukio Edano said there should be no impact on human health. He added that it was too early to evaluate the impact of the contaminated seawater on fishery products.
