PARIS, June 1 (Xinhua) -- China's tennis star Li Na made a historical win here on Wednesday, beating Victoria Azarenka from Belarus 7-5, 6-2 in the women's singles quarterfinal.
Li Na, 28, who finished second at the Australia Open earlier this year, dominated the quarterfinal game with her powerful and accurate, forehand and backhand baseline strokes.
Now, Li has the chance to create more histories at the French Open.
