MADRID, May 11 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona has already begun to celebrate the conquest of the 2010-11 Primera Liga crown.

A 1-1 draw away to Levante on Wednesday night gave Barcelona their third consecutive league title. Seydou Keita scored Barcelona's goal and on the final whistle the Barcelona players celebrated with their fans and with each other on the pitch at the Ciudad de Valencia Stadium.

Club President Sandro Rosell was clearly proud of the club's achievements in what is his first season as President: a season that has also seen the club reach the final of the Champions League.

"It is an extraordinary moment for all Barca fans, it is a league that has huge value for us, because it represents, efforts football and work of the players and the coach: it is hard to express what it means as President of the club," he said on Canal Plus shortly after the final whistle.

"I want to highlight the attitude and the effort of the group of players and the values of fair-play and the effort we have shown and the will to do things well," added Rosell, who also had words of condolence for the victims of the earthquake which hit the Spanish town of Lorca earlier in the day.

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola shook the hands of all of the players on the pitch before making his way to the dressing room.

"Its always difficult to win the league, but now we have to enjoy it," said Guardiola, who has taken Barcelona to the title in all three of his years as coach of the club.

Leo Messi was also in the mood for celebration, although he had words for Real Madrid, who will finish second this campaign.

"It's been a hard year against a great rival that is Real Madrid," said Messi, who has again confirmed his position as the best player in the World this season.

Midfielder Xavi Hernandez also gave his thoughts, highlighting the work of his companions and looking forward to the inevitable celebrations once the team had returned to Barcelona.

"It always is good to win a title," he said. "This is a great team, I imagine we'll celebrate for the streets of the city when we get back tonight."

Finally goalscorer Seydou Keita also recognized his side's achievements and had a special dedication for the title.

"This is an important day for the club. Now we have to win the Champions League and we are going to prepare well for the game. I dedicate my goal to my wife, my children and the Barca fans," he concluded.
