RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- 18-year-old Santos striker Neymar openly declared his admiration for fellow teammate Paulo Henrique Ganso on Sunday.

Neymar compared the midfielder to French soccer star Zinedine Zidane. Neymar professed that Ganso is a genius on the field.

Citing his agility and precision, Neymar stated that he constantly calls Ganso by "Zidane 2". Neymar continued to say that be believes Ganso will soon be better than the 1998 World Cup winner.

Neymar added his excitement to play alongside recently signed Elano. The striker stated that he cannot wait to enter the field with Elano, noting Elano's speed, versatility, ability to score and celebrate after doing so.

The striker added compliments to the head coach of the Brazilian national soccer team Mano Menezes. Neymar claims that Menezes is an extraordinary coach and that his advice is always timely and appropriate, leading to the improvement in performance and behavior of his athletes.
