LONDON, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Due to a thigh injury, Spanish international forward Fernando Torres will need one month to recover before being fully fit for Liverpool's new Premier League season campaign.
The Liverpool club said on Wednesday that Torres, suffering from a ruptured muscle in his left thigh, should be back in action in one month.
The Premier League side will face Arsenal in their season opener on August 15.
Although winning the World Cup with Spain this summer, Torres struggled to find his form but only ended with a lackluster performance in South Africa.
