MELBOURNE, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese star Li Na advanced to the third round at the Australian Open on Thursday when she overcame a one-set deficit to outclass Agnes Szavay of Hungary 3-6, 7-5, 6-2.
Li, seeded 16th at the year's first Grand Slam in Melbourne, will next face either No. 22 seed Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia or Sweden's Sofia Arvidsson.
Meanwhile, Ana Ivanovic was ousted in the second round by Argentina's Gisela Dulko, losing in a three-set thriller.
Ivanovic, the No. 20 seed, won the first set that ended in a tiebreak 7-6 (8-6), but lost the last two sets 5-7, 4-6.
In other women's play on Thursday, Victoria Azarenka and Agnieszka Radwanska also moved into the third round.
