Israel Air Force briefs foreign media on its UAV program

A Heron, an Israeli-made drone with a cruising altitude of 30,000 feet that can remain aloft for up to 45 hours, flies over the Palmachim Air Base south of Tel Aviv on Dec. 5, 2011. The Israeli Air Force on Monday briefed foreign media on its Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) program, granting a rare glimpse of hangars that house 6 Heron UAVs in the Palmachim Air Base, south of Tel Aviv.
