Colossus candles lighted to usher in Spring Festival

| Two monks ignite the colossus propitious candle, inside the Hanshan Temple, a thousand-year-old prestigious Buddhist temple in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, Feb. 6, 2010. A total of 23 pairs of 1.8-m-high super propitious candles, capable of sustaining up to 3 months, are lighted in the Hanshan Temple to beef up the merry festival atmosphere for ushering in the new Spring Festival of the year of tiger.
