COOPERATION IS WHAT MATTERS
Commenting on the IMF loan, Ukrainian analysts said that while the fund is very helpful, the resumption of cooperation with the organization is no less important.
With the new loan and renewed link, Ukraine will be able to restructure its heavy public debt, which amounts to more than 100 billion U.S. dollars, and to earn higher ratings from international credit rating agencies.
Accordingly, more investment will flow into the country, and its banking sector will have a chance to be rejuvenated.
Meanwhile, after rejoining hands with the IMF, they pointed out, Ukraine can also receive funds from other financial institutions which condition their loans on the restoration of Ukraine-IMF cooperation.
