ISLAMABAD, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- At least one child died and over 300 others suffered from food poisoning at a flood relief camp in Pakistan's southern Punjab province, reported local media on Saturday.
According to the reports, the incident occurred on Saturday morning after flood affectees reportedly had the expired food provided at a relief camp in Taunsa, a city on the east side of the Indus River in the southern Punjab province.
All the people suffering seriously from food poisoning have been admitted to hospital, said camp officials, adding many people had lost consciousness after eating the food.
