BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- 93-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is in very serious condition and asked that a priest read her the last rites on Sunday, according to media reports.

Publicist John Blanchette said Gabor was in surgery for several hours Saturday for the removal of the clots from her upper body, one of them very close to her heart.

He described Gabor’s situation as "very sad."

Gabor was admitted on Friday to the hospital to treat two blood clots, only two days after being released for hip replacement surgery.

Gabor broke her hip July 17 and was released from the hospital after hip replacement surgery last Wednesday.
