BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- China's State Council, or Cabinet, has made two new high-level appointments and relieved one official of his position, according to a Cabinet circular issued on Friday.
Xia Yong was appointed director of the National Administration for the Protection of State Secrets (NAPSS).
Li Weihong was appointed as director of the State Language Commission, replacing Hao Ping.
Sun Laiyan was stood down as director of the China National Space Administration.
