Pei spoke highly of the Russian and Chinese governments' initiative to launch the "Russian Language Year" in China last year and the "Chinese Language Year" this year in Russia.
The measure will not only deepen the understanding between the two countries and their peoples but also help train more professionals with better language skills to further bilateral cooperation, she said.
