BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) -- China will closely monitor the trend of the U.S. dollar against other currencies, the central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan said at a press conference here Saturday.

BEIJING, March 5 (Xinhua) - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao warned Friday the nation still faces "a very complex situation" in the wake of the "most difficult year for economic development" since the new millennium.
