BEIJING, June 12(Xinhuanet) -- Mung bean prices dropped by nearly 50 percent, from a high of 9 yuan (US$1.32) a kilogram to 5 to 6 yuan a kilogram within 10 days, the First Financial Daily reported Wednesday.
Experts say this dramatic drop is due to both State regulations and market adjustments.
