WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama said on Wednesday his request submitted to Congress for a new authorization to use military force against the Islamic State group doesn't call for the deployment of U.S. ground combat forces to Iraq or Syria and that the authorization is limited to three years.
