JERUSALEM, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Air Force on Tuesday intercepted a Syrian MiG-21 fighter plane in the Golan Heights, the Israeli army confirmed. A Patriot missile was fired at the aircraft as it flew over the Quneitra area, according to Israeli media.
