SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday fired two more short-range projectiles after launching three projectiles earlier in the day, Yonhap News Agency and YTN reported citing the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The DPRK fired two more projectiles, presumed to be launched from the 300mm-caliber multiple-rocket launchers, at 12:56 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. local time after launching three projectiles in the morning.
The two projectiles, which flew around 200 km, were believed to be fired from the DPRK's eastern Wonsan Area, where the earlier three projectiles were launched, into a northeasterly direction.

DPRK urges S. Korea to cancel military drill with U.S. unconditionally
PYONGYANG, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday urged South Korea to cancel its military exercises with the United States, warning that the drill "will push the situation to the brink of a war."
Demanding unconditional cancellation of the Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG) military drill scheduled for this month, DPRK also asked South Korean authorities to stop depending on foreign forces and pull down barriers that impede the nation's unity and reconciliation, the official KCNA news agency reported.Full Story
