BANGKOK, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Thai military junta chief Prayuth Chan-ocha said Tuesday that the king had endorsed the interim charter and he expected to receive the endorsed charter later in the day.
The endorsed charter will be received from the king at a royal audience at Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan later on Tuesday, Prayuth was quoted by Bangkok Post as saying.
The details of the provisional charter are expected to be revealed on Wednesday, and thus pave the way for a national legislative assembly, an interim government and a national reform council, which are set to take shape successively in coming months.
