BERLIN, July 19 (Xinhua) -- At least 9 people were killed and 40 more injured in a highway collision near Dresden in Germany early Saturday morning, local media reported.
The accident happened at about two o' clock Saturday morning on a highway near Dresden, a city near the border with the Czech Republic. A bus slammed into a van after it broke through the central barrier and drove into the opposite lane, reported local MDR radio.
Seven passengers in the van and two in the bus were killed. Another 40 were injured, it said, citing witnesses.
