ISLAMABAD, July 4 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and eight others injured when a blast went off near a mosque in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Friday afternoon, reported local media.
Local Urdu TV channel ARY quoted hospital sources as saying that at least two of the injured were in critical condition. The nature of the blast is not known at this point.
