TIRANA, June 7 (Xinhua) -- The Albanian government on Saturday sent to parliament for approval the bill "On Tourism".
The bill aims at defining the principles and norms regulating the activity of tourism in the country, implementing the service standards, tourism products and other services related to it, according to ATSH news agency.
The problems encountered by the existing law, such as the lack of support for tourism industry, licensing of subjects in this areas, standardization and classification of hotels and accommodation structures, prompted the need for drafting a new law, the financial cost of implementation of which will be launched in 2015.
The law stipulates the establishment of the Tourist Cetral Register, as the document that unifies all subjects operating in the field of tourism.
